Bringing the 'wow' factor to a Jacobean farmhouse

Small architectural practice CH Planning designed and project managed the conversion of a Grade II listed Jacobean farmhouse.

Architectural technician, Chris Hodges, worked closely with the homeowner to design a substantial oak and pine cut-string staircase for the entrance hall. Through a builders’ merchant recommendation, TwoTwenty was chosen to manufacture the staircase to Chris’ design.

“TwoTwenty’s technical sales representative came to visit and measure up for the stair,” said Chris. “We had an excellent service. The cost was very competitive and they kept us in the loop during the manufacturing process.

“The client was delighted with the end result. I have already recommended TwoTwenty to others and would definitely work with them again.”
